Our next gathering is planned for MILCOPEX 2008. Our next annual meeting will be held at WISCOPEX 09, hosted by the Rockford Stamp Club.
To join, please download the membership form and mail it to Treasurer Greg Schmidt.
At Milcopex 2008 we will be hosting a multi-state postal history exhibiting competition in 2008. So please get those collections mounted and ready to go and spread the word to both collectors and dealers.
The WPHS had a great meeting September 15, 2007, at Milcopex and that there was some good discussion, show & tell and a few deals done on covers afterwards. We hope to see you there the next time or for those remote from Wisconsin to consider joining the WPHS. Darren Mueller gave a presentation on using fire insurance maps to research post office locations. The union lists of Sanborn maps list available maps for Wisconsin (cities A-L and M-Z) and their repositories. (Other states available elsewhere online).
