KEN GRANT JOINS LIST OF WFSC CERTIFIED JUDGES

Ken Grant, of Baraboo, WI, was recently certified as a WFSC judge. His extraordinary philatelic expertise allowed him to achieve certification without completing the WFSC's judging apprenticeship program. Ken is president of the Baraboo Stamp Club. He's also president of the Board of Trustees for the American Philatelic Research Library in Bellefonte, PA. Ken can be contacted for judging assignments at E11960 Kessler Rd., Baraboo, WI 53913, phone 608-356-7593, or e-mail kgrant@uwc.edu.

For a complete listing of WFSC judges and details on the apprenticeship program, contact Frank Moertl, N95 W32259 County Line Rd., Hartland, WI 53029, 262-966-7096, e-mail frankann@ticon.net.

WISCPEX/Rockford 06

The 75th Annual Convention will be held at Rockford, Mach 11-12, 2006. Plans are being made to celebrate this milestone. We will be having a display of past WISCOPEX covers, a special anniversary cake for desert after the annual meeting, balloons and prizes. Information about the history of the club will be put in frames as a display showing past shows, Presidents, Hall of Fame, Dealers, etc. (Out of the Blue Book). A special 75th anniversary cachet and cancel will be available.

We are also looking for Wisconsin related exhibits. See the Rockford Stamp Club web site for more information.
